Jeep is a staple vehicle for Americans since it was introduced in 1941. The term “Jeep” goes way back before 1940. It was used as U.S. military slang for new recruits or vehicles. When the World War II 4×4 Jeep went into production in 1941, the term was tied to it – making it the oldest four-wheel drive that was mass-produced. With the term linking it to the old trusted vehicles of World War II, it is safe to say that it can withstand any given terrains. Today, the Jeep brand is still known for its all-terrain vehicles.
